Guv Banwarilal Purohit pays tributes to Netaji on his 125th Birth Anniversary

On the Prakram Diwas, Governor Punjab and the Administrator U.T, Banwarilal Purohit paid heartfelt tributes to Netaji Subash Chandra Bose.
In a quiet and solemn ceremony organized at Punjab Raj Bhawan, Purohit and the officials of Raj Bhawan paid floral tributes to Netaji on his 125th birth anniversary.
Bowing in reverence and paying glowing tributes to the iconic brave leader, the Governor said that Netaji personified valour, determination and sacrifice and played an invaluable role in liberating our motherland from the yoke of British rule. Netaji’s slogans ‘Jai Hind’ and ‘Give me blood and I will give you freedom’ sparked patriotism and instilled the fervour of nationalism in the hearts of Indians during the struggle for freedom. The nation will forever be grateful to Netaji for his enormous contribution in India’s struggle for freedom, said Purohit.
Exhorting his ‘Punjab Raj Bhavan family’ to work with honesty & dedication, Purohit asked all to ensure corruption free completely transparent work environment in keeping with dignity of Punjab Raj Bhavan.
Neta ji continues to inspire all Indians, he stated and added that “let us be committed to strengthen the spirit of freedom so strongly espoused by him”.
