Guv’s observations regarding drug menace proved incompetency of AAP govt -Chandumajra

Shiromani Akali Dal leader and former MP Prem Singh Chandumajra has said that observations made by Punjab governor Banwarilal Purohit regarding drug abuse and drug smuggling in border areas of Punjab has proved incompetency of Aam Aadmi Party(AAP )government in Punjab.
While talking to media persons at Rupnagar on Tuesday he said that AAP had promised to eradicate the menace of drugs in Punjab within one month of coming in to power but it had failed to do so.
Chandumajra also alleged that the state government had failed to stop illegal minning and even High Court had taken a serious note of the same.
He alleged that the soaring prices of sand and gravel had badly hit the construction work in the state.
He said that state government was being run by the non- Punjabis and chief minister Bhagwant Mann had become a puppet in their hands.
He alleged that AAP government had failed to protect the interests of the state and failed to take a firm pro-Punjab stand on various issues like SYL canal, permanent representation of Punjab in BBMB .
In reply to a question he said that Shiromani Akali Dal wanted SGPC elections to be held at the earliest.
Former Rupnagar municipal council president Paramjit Singh Makkar,former municipal councillors Gurmukh Singh Saini,Bachittar Singh and Ch. Ved Parkash ,Akali leader Harjot Singh Haveli,Advocate Rajiv Sharma, Surinder Singh,Gurpreet Singh,Ranjit Singh Sandhu,were also present on the occasion.
