Haryana DGP sent on leave; 1992-Batch IPS officer given Additional Charge

The Haryana Government has sent Shatrujeet Singh Kapoor, Director General of Police (DGP), Haryana on leave , days after IPS officer Y Puran Kumar allegedly shot himself.
“The Governor of Haryana is pleased to assign the additional charge of DGP Haryana to Om Prakash Singh, IPS (HY:1992 RR)”, the official orders stated.
