Ordinance issued; Haryana Government has virtually taken over HSGMC : SAD

The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD)reacted strongly to notification issued by Haryana Government on nominating 41 members and Patron of the HSGMC and said that Government has virtually taken over HSGMC.
In a statement released here today, Akali Dal Chief Spokesperson Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema said that new developments are not surprising for the Akali Dal as they have vindicated stand of the party that state government wants to usurp powers of the HSGMC.
He said that new gazette issued by the Haryana Government has made it clear that all the 41 members including Patron of the HSGMC will be appointed by it and Sangat has no role to play in election of their representatives. He said that Akali Dal had raised its voice since day one that BJP wants to asserts its power on Gurdwara Committees and after DSGMC, its assertion on HSGMC was in line with its policy.
Ordinance issued; Haryana Government has virtually taken over HSGMC : SAD spokesperson Daljit Singh Cheema added that Akali Dal will not tolerate this exertion on Sikh rights and will oppose tooth and nail policies of BJP Government in this regard.
