HT staffer bereaved, father died, Bhog on 24 June
Patiala-Jasbir Inder Singh, 79, father of Hindustan Times Patiala based MM head Kanwar Inder Singh passed away on 17th June 2018, after a brief illness. He was admitted at a private hospital in SAS Nagar for the last two weeks and was under medical treatment. His last rites were performed at the local Badungar cremation ground, Patiala. Members of Patiala Media Club, District Public Relations officers and other prominent personalities attended the cremation.
He was superannuated from the department of Central Excise and Customs as Superintendent from Patiala office. He is survived by his wife, a son and two daughters.
His son works with national daily newspaper Hindustan Times. His elder son-in-law is a SDO with Punjab Irrigation department at Patiala. His younger son-in-law is an Inspector with Punjab Police and posted as SHO Tripuri Police Post, Patiala.
Kanwar Inder Singh further informed that Bhog and Antim Ardas for the eternal peace of the departed soul will be held at Gurudwara Singh Sabha SST Nagar, Near Hotel Eqbal Inn, Patiala-Chandigarh Road, from 12:00 to 1:30 PM on Sunday, 24th June 2018.
