The Hult Prize is an international social do-good entrepreneurial program that aims to captivate the interest of students to tackle issues that transcend national boundaries and in turn act as an incentive for global startups. This program enables young people to envision their basic idea and start climbing the ladder of social entrepreneurship. Being operational in more than 2000 college and university campuses in 121 countries is what makes this program one of the most substantial ones in the world.

This year the Hult prize foundation has begun its action in TIET, Patiala under the leadership of Dhruv Taneja who has been selected as the campus director for the same. With the topic being ‘Food for Good’ this year participants have been asked to establish sustainable food enterprises that will deal with the conflicts and demands of the population and hence come up with viable alternatives.

The participants are being nurtured with timely mentorship through regularly conducted seminars to point them in the right direction. The seminars have been highly informative and have been graced by a highly esteemed panel.
