World Red Cross Day celebrated at Rupnagar

District Red Cross Society Rupnagar celebrated World Red Cross day.
On the occasion District Red Cross Societyย ย conducted various public welfare programmess and provided tricycles and wheelchairs to 20 persons with disabilities. Hygiene kits were distributed to Kusht Ashram Rupnagar and women Inmates.
Rupnagar deputy commissioner Dr. Preeti Yadav specially attended. these programmes. Deputy Commissioner hoisted the Red Cross flag and remembered Red Cross founderย ย Jean-Henri Dunant.
Painting competitions were also conducted for the children of different schools as a message dedicated to the service of Red Cross humanity.
