iHub – AWaDH IIT Ropar Launches Second Contact Session of SWACH Accelerator Program with Expert-Led Panels

Be part of a transformative journey towards a sustainable future, iHub – AWaDH of IIT Ropar has launched the second Contact Session of the SWACH Accelerator Program. This important event commenced with an inspiring inauguration led by Prof. Rajeev Ahuja, Director of IIT Ropar; Dr. Pushpendra P. Singh, Dean of R&D at IIT Ropar and Project Director of iHub – AWaDH; Mr. Somveer Anand, CEO and Mission Director of Innovation Mission Punjab; and Surya Kant, Program Director at Meity Startup Hub.
Prof. Rajeev Ahuja congratulated the startups and teams for their commitment, recognizing their significant contributions to the program and their potential to advance the sanitation sector.
Mukesh Kestwal, CIO, and Radhika Trikha, CEO of iHub – AWaDH, opened the session with a comprehensive introduction, highlighting the significant impact of AWaDH on India’s deep-tech and entrepreneurial sectors. They emphasized the role of the SWACH Accelerator in fostering collaboration among iHub – AWaDH @ IIT Ropar, Innovation Mission Punjab, and the ISC-India Sanitation Coalition.
Mukesh Kestwal expressed the program, stating, “We are incredibly pleased to witness the dedication and innovation of all participating startups. The SWACH Accelerator Program is dedicated to nurturing growth and supporting startups in their journey toward achieving meaningful impact.”
The first day featured a series of impactful sessions aimed at enhancing participants’ business expertise. Sriram Chidambram from Spiceroute provided valuable insights into Reading Financial Statements and Unit Economics and Financial Metrics. Nikhil Kaushik of Ecosystem Ventures delivered a session on Financial Modelling for impact startups, while Alisha Varghese from Nabsamruddhi focused on Impact Measurement Metrics, helping participants evaluate and showcase the effectiveness of their initiatives.
On the agenda for the second day is a Diagnostic Panel, where startups will present their challenges and receive strategic guidance from a distinguished group of mentors. The panel will include Srikanth Prabhu, Paresh Vora, Rajeev Kher, Abhishek Purohit, Susmita Ghosh, Dhruv Gupta, and Jayesh Modi. This session is set to foster productive discussions and provide actionable advice to help overcome obstacles and drive impactful outcomes.Participating startups such as Aryav, Econcious, Celligo, Paving+, Nanokriti, Green Aadhaar, Greenbrigade, Integerspin, New Unnat, and Inwaste will have the opportunity to engage in productive discussions and receive actionable advice aimed at overcoming obstacles and driving impactful outcomes.
