Pro-Public Initiative: Punjabi University Health Centre holds camp for cashless insurance card registration for staff, public- Dr Regina

Under the resilient leadership of the Vice Chancellor, Punjabi University, Patiala; Bhai Ghaniya Health centre, Punjabi University Patiala in collaboration with NSS Department, Punjabi University, Patiala and Computer centre, Punjabi University Patiala is organising Camp in the computer centre lab in which cards shall be made under Mukh Mantri sehat bima yojana,Govt. Of Punjab .
Under this scheme, cashless insurance coverage of Rs 10 lakhs per family per year will be given.
The camp was inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor, Punjabi University, Patiala Dr Jagdeep Singh. Dr Jagdeep Singh appreciated the efforts made by Dr Regina Maini, Senior medical officer to implement the Punjab Govt scheme in the University campus, he also appreciated NSS Department Incharge Dr Anhad Gill and Director Computer centre,Dr Kamaljit Singh and the supporting staff of the above departments.
Dr Regina Maini said this camp was initiated for 5 days from 20 th April,2026 to 24 th April,2026 as per the orders of Dr Balbir Singh, Health Minister, Punjab but now will continue for a few more working days
The camp was earlier opened for the campus residents but now it is open for urban estate residents also.
The interested persons must bring the aadhar card, voter card of the family members and the birth certificates for children under 18 years age.
