IMA Patiala promised to provide all possible assistance from private sector hospitals to district administration

Indian Medical Association (IMA) Patiala today met the civil surgeon Patiala in view of current scenario of escalating tension in the border areas of Punjab with Pakistan.

Dr Nidhi Bansal President Indian medical association Patiala, promised the government, on behalf of each and every member, every possible assistance as regards supply for emergency beds, equipments, medical officers and emergency medications, as the requirement may be.

Dr Nidhi Bansal reiterated IMAs’ commitment to work hand in hand with the government authorities to ensure none of the emergency medical services are affected and also promised every possible assistance from private sector hospitals including big corporate hospitals in the unfortunate eventually of any war or any casualties thereof.

This meeting called by the civil surgeon, Patiala Dr Jagpalinder Singh today, he sensitized office bearers of IMA about the current scenario and requested complete assistance and cooperation during mock drills and blackout drills from all hospitals and Nursing Homes

He also asked IMA to provide Complete data of infrastructure, emergency beds, trauma beds, backup services and ambulance services as in when required and give a list of emergency medical officers, intensives’ and trauma management teams available in each hospital along with the nodal officer of every hospital.

Secretary Dr Amandeep Bakshi told media that we have extended unconditional support in every way possible.

Dr Nidhi Bansal told media that All the required data has been supplied to CS Office today itself and we are ready 24*7 come what may.
