IMA Patiala Women Doctors Wing celebrated Women’s Day

To strengthen interpersonal communication and relationships among women doctors, we celebrated this year International Women’s day to “BREAK THE BIAS” and held an interactive session on WORKPLACE SAFETY AND SECURITY FOR WOMEN IN MEDICAL ESTABLISHMENTS …at TBS , Rajindra Gymkhana club (RGMC) Patiala today 8th March 2022, 4:00pm to 6:00pm and discussed openly about safety concerns, problems faced, sexual abuse , harassment and complaints redressal along with HIGH TEA.
Among eminent speakers were Dr D.S Bhullar(member sexual harassment committee Rajindra Hospital, Patiaĺa),Alka chaddha a senior :management committee member from a renowned hotel chain in USA.
Chairpersons were Dr Chander Mohini ( Secretary WDW PUNJAB) Dr Nidhi Bansal( President WDW IMA PATIAĹA), Dr Neelima Sodhi( president POS), Dr Monica Varma ( owner Sadbhavna Hospital) Dr Bharti Bansal( senior Pathologist).
Also present were senior members of Indian Medical Association (IMA) PATIAĹA including Dr Ajata Shatru,Dr Jatinder Kansal, Dr Bhagwant Singh, Dr Neeraj Goyal, Dr Harsimran Singh, along with Many eminent women doctors of the city.
Women doctors pledged to stand by each other in the hour of need and IMA Asked all its members to form disciplinary committee in every hospital and take strict action against defaulters.
