Mata Gujri College organized a discussion on the topic ‘Research in the Solar cells.’ On this occasion, Research Scientist of Nanyang Technological University, Singapore Dr. Manoj Sharma was the keynote speaker. He shared his views with the professors of Physics and Chemistry departments.
Director Principal Dr. Kashmir Singh welcomed Dr. Manoj Sharma and said, “Where this kind of events helps us to find solutions of our problems, there we get information about the new techniques as well.”
Talking about his research, Dr. Manoj Sharma said, “In his research, 97% cells built from the solar energy are efficient. This technique is very successful and can be used fitting in the corners in the glass windows of the multistory buildings. In this way, solar light reaching in the buildings can be utilized without any hindrance.”
He encouraged professors to work in the field of Science. Moreover, Dr. Manoj Sharma’s this research has been published in the international journal ‘Advance Material’.
