Indian Dental Association, Kashmir conducts insightful programme

In an effort to enhance the knowledge and awareness surrounding evolving trends in dentistry, the Indian Dental Association, Kashmir Central Branch, organized a significant Continuing Dental Education Program today at Tagore Hall.
Distinguished guests and members of the dental fraternity gathered for this informative session, with Dr. Jehanzaib Tenki graced the occasion as the chief guest. The conference commenced with an inaugural address by Dr. Ishtiyaq Geelani, who is associated with IDA Kashmir Central Branch as President set the tone for the event, emphasizing the importance of ongoing education in the field of Dentistry.
Also a special themed edition (the oral health conversation) newsletter also released on the occasion and the conference attracted a diverse audience, including both seasoned professionals and emerging talents from across Kashmir. The engagement was structured into two technical sessions, each addressing crucial aspects of dental practice and education.
The first session featured Dr. Ijtiba Shafi, who delivered an insightful presentation focusing on the various guidelines issued by the government periodically. Dr. Ijtiba illuminated the audience on staying updated with the evolving rules and regulations, crucial for maintaining ethical standards in dental practice.
Following a brief lunch break, the second session commenced with Dr. Urnaib Riyaz the second presenter provided a meticulous overview of the evolution of dentistry over the past century. Additionally, she shed light on the challenges faced by new dentists in their professional journey.
The conference culminated with the chief guest, Dr. Jehanzaib Tenki, expressing his gratitude for the insightful discussions and contributions from the participants. The closing ceremony was gracefully wrapped up with a vote of thanks presented by Dr. Adil Malik, the Hon. Branch Secretary of IDA Kashmir Central Branch.
