Instructions issued to DCs by ACS-FCR Punjab for not adhering to govt orders

Anurag Verma, IAS, additional chief secretary cum- financial commissioner revenue Punjab has issued a official letter to all the deputy commissioners for not adhering to the state government orders in checking working of tehsils, subtehsils in the state. The ACS-FCR has instructed the DCs to keep the CCTVs in all tehsils / sub-tehsils in working mode by January 31,2025.
Punjab govt has installed 4 CCTV cameras in all 180 tehsils, sub-tehsils for the smooth working of the revenue department. In a surprise checking done by the higher-ups of Punjab, it was found that only 3 cameras in working condition.
