JGND PSOU, Patiala and Rotary Club Patiala Royale Illuminate Lives through Vision Spring Eye Camp

Jagat Guru Nanak Dev Punjab State Open University (JGND PSOU), in partnership with Rotary Club Patiala Royale and Vision Spring, organized a life-changing eye camp on its administrative block today. The event, which was graced by distinguished personalities, marked a significant step in providing essential eye care services to the community.
In attendance were Vice Chancellor Prof. Karamjeet Singh, Dr. Renu, Ambika Yadav, Counsellor, Ajay Chaudhary, Coordinator, Senior Rotarian Daljeet Cheema, Rtn Dr Inderjit Singh, President, Prof. Manjit Singh, Registrar of JGNDPSOU and Prof. Gurdip Singh Batra, Dean, along with faculty and staff members of the University.
The collaborative efforts of JGND PSOU, Rotary Club Patiala Royale and Vision Spring were channeled towards providing free eye care services. Vision Spring, in partnership with Rotary, conducted comprehensive eye-screening and generously provided free spectacles to those in need.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Karamjeet Singh expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative, stating, “This eye camp is an endeavor to raise awareness about eye care. By providing free services to those who require special aid, Jagat Guru Nanak Dev Punjab State Open University is making a significant contribution to the society. We believe that good vision is a fundamental right and through this initiative, we are helping people to see the world more clearly.”
