JGND Punjab State Open University organises Tree Plantation Drive

Jagat Guru Nanak Dev Punjab State Open University (JGND PSOU), Patiala in collaboration with State Bank of India organized a Tree Plantation Drive in the Administrative block of the university.Prof.Karamjeet Singh, Vice-Chancellor, JGND PSOU; Prof.Manjit Singh, Registrar, JGND PSOU; Dr. G. S. Batra, Dean Academic Affairs; Dharmendra Tiwari, Assistant General Manager, SBI; Monika Sharma, Branch Manager, Narender Kumar Arora, Manager Liaison participated in the plantation drive.
Prof.Karamjeet Singh, Vice-Chancellor, emphasized that environmental conservation efforts, such as tree planting, improve the ecosystem. “Such initiatives can play a significant role in raising public awareness about environmental protection,” he said.
