June 22,2021 is going to be an eventful for Punjab. All eyes were on the outcome of today’s event that would affect the Punjab in or the other way.
Today, Congress high command is going to meet the Congress MP, s, Ministers, MLAs of Punjab to found a solution in the ongoing Congress Vs Congress crises. Capt Amarinder Singh, chief minister of Punjab had already reached Delhi for meeting with the three-member central committee set up to resolve the rift on Tuesday morning.
Today the newly formed Special Investigation Team (SIT) is going to interrogate the former chief minister of Punjab Parkash Singh Badal in Kotakpura firing case of 2015 at his sector 4 residence at Chandigarh. Badal was the chief minister of Punjab when the police had opened fire on protesters in Kotkapura on October 14, 2015, killing two and injuring others. The SIT is to ascertain as to who gave the orders to open fire, whether the cops fired in self-defence and if standard operating procedure was followed.
CM PunjabToday the PGI is going to do the post mortem of slain gangster Jaipal Singh Bhullar, after the high court orders. The Punjab and Haryana High Court, on Monday asked the PGI Chandigarh to do the second post-mortem, after the Supreme Court on Friday had remanded a back of plea from Jaipal’s father Bhupinder Singh, for conducting the second post-mortem, to know the exact details and nature of the injuries caused to him.
Today PSPCL/ PSTCL engineers are going to quit their official What’s app groups, in protest against the non-fulfillment of their demands. Regional Secretaries will form teams to ensure success of next phase of protest program. As per the association plan, regional teams will visit/call each and every engineer to ensure that all engineers exit official WhatsApp, office bearers and senior executive Members of the regions to visit Chief Engineers and SEs to ensure that they exit the official WhatsApp groups. With the ongoing paddy season, leaving the What’app group would affect the working of the powercom.
