Senior BJP leadership is so terrified that no one is ready to answer a simple question “why the controversial tweet of Kangana Ranaut , which has raised the question on country’s intelligence, farmers protest on is still on her X page even after the party has distanced from her tweet which is not deleted even after a week’s time?
On August 25, 2024,Kangana Ranaut, a first time BJP member parliament, who represents Mandi in the Lok Sabha, sparked controversy by suggesting that the farmers’ protests could have resulted in a Bangladesh-like situation if not for strong leadership. She had shared an interview clip on her X account, which is still showing on her X account. She had said that “there was a long planning, just like in Bangladesh. Such was the conspiracy … China, America, these kinds of foreign powers are working here”
Even the party president JP Nadda has especially called her after the hue and cry raised by the opposition leaders, farmers and asked her to refrain from making any untoward statement on any issue.
Till today, that controversial tweet is still running on her official twitter account giving impression that the organization follows “Rules for thee but not for me” pattern.

The first reaction of almost all BJP senior leader like Anil Bulani, Jaiveer Shergill, Tarun Chugh, Jai Inder Kaur, RP Singh, Manjinder Singh Sirsa is ” this is not good. We will inform our senor leaders and would definitely get it deleted at the earliest. The party has already distanced from her this statement. We will get back to you.” When contacted again, the tone of firebrand leaders changes and they wither start playing the passing the parcel game or didn’t respond to repeated calls, to avoid giving the answer”
When contacted party fire brand leader and spokesperson RP Singh, after two days he said “right now I’m busy in Jammu elections, you must contact Manjinder Singh Sirsa as he can give you right answer. He also skipped the some question “why the controversial tweet of Kangana Ranaut , which has raised the question on country’s integrity is still on her X page even after the party has distanced from her tweet is not deleted even after a week’s time?
When contacted another fire brand leader of the saffron party Manjinder Singh Sirsa, who is famous for hard hitting statements, responded after two days, said “it’s better to contact RP Singh as he is better to answer this issue.I am not authorized to speak on this”
Punjab BJP Mahila Morcha president Jai Inder Kaur goes incommunicado when questioned the same.
The award winning answer was received by BJPs most vocal leader and national executive member Harjit Singh Grewal on this issue. It’s better to ask this question to a vehla banda (free person) of the party. There are many vehle leaders, contact them, they will answer your question as I have lots of other party works. I’m busy and in the field meeting workers.”
Kissan leader Gurnam Singh Charuni said “why are you asking this question. It’s an open secret that she is following her party’s agenda. The party has double standards. That’s why no one has asked her to delete the controversial tweet.”
The party has officially distanced itself from recent statements made by actor-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut regarding the farmers’ movement. In a press statement issued by the BJP Central Media Department on Monday, the party clarified that Ranaut’s remarks do not reflect the party’s views and stated that she is neither authorised nor permitted to speak on the party’s policy matters.
