Kejriwal became first to sound election bugle in Punjab; announces freebies to Punjabi’s

Arvind Kejriwal, Aam Admi Party supremo today came to Chandigarh and sounded the election bugle in Punjab.
AAP became the first party to announce it’s election manifesto, in parts. In the first part, AAP supremo announced 300 units of electricity for every domestic connection.
He also clarified that if AAP govt comes to power , 300 units will be given free to every resident of Punjab, irrespective of any reservation- like SC, BPL, OBC etc. Till now Punjab govt has given 200 units of free power to SC, BPL, OBC, with a condition of 1 KW connection only.
Kejriwal at a press conference declared that the farmers will get free agriculture power, as they are getting now. He said that the Aam Admi Party is supporting and will support the Kisan’s. The party is with them.
Every household in the state will also get free electricity up to 300 units. “By doing this, around 77 per cent to 80 per cent people of Punjab will have zero electricity bill,” he said.
He further announce that their govt will regularize all electricity connections which were not operational due to non-deposit of electricity bills in the state. No arrear will be charged from them.
The third major announcement he made, to give 24 hour power supply to the residents of Punjab. He said that it will take some time, but he will do it, when the AAP govt take over the reins of Punjab, after winning the 2022 elections.
He added that , the first job the AAP govt will do, after coming to power in the state ,to issue the order of 300 unit of electricity and to regularize the connection and cancellation of the electricity arrear.
When questioned ,who will he get the amount, as Punjab is already under debt. He said ” the Punjab is being looted by the sand mafia, liquor mafia, land mafia and AAP govt won’t tolerate this and won’t allow any illegal activity. The revenue will be deposited in the govt exchequer and the same will be used for the betterment of the local residents.”
