Lamrin Tech Skills University conducts 3rd meeting of Governing Body

Lamrin Tech Skills University (LTSU) Punjab conducted 3rd meeting of its Governing Body consisting of senior members of industry and academia. Dr. A.S. Chawla, Vice-Chancellor, welcomed the Chancellor (Chairman BoG) and all members of the meeting, expressing his gratitude to everyone who joined physically and virtually.

Dr. Sandeep Singh, Chancellor of LTSU Punjab who is also Chairperson of Governing Body welcomed all the members of the Board of Governors (BoG). Esteemed Board included renowned academicians and members from Industry including Prof. (Dr.) Rajeev Ahuja; Director IIT Ropar,  Dr Bhola Ram Gurjar Director NITTER, Dr Meenu Singh ED AIIMS,  Jatinder Pal Singh Nominee Deptt. of Higher Education & Languages Punjab,  Pawan Bagheria, President Tata Technologies, Jatinder Kumar, Nominee Principal Secretary Finance Govt.of Punjab,  Vithal Madyalkar Director IBM ICE , Prof. (Dr) Chandan Chowdhary Executive Dean ISB,  Sanjeev Mehta Advisor and Head Program Development IBM.

Dr. Kaura shared the vision and mission of LTSU Punjab  to deliver quality education to the masses and highlighted the university’s rapid growth in a short span of time. He further stated that LTSU has sufficient infrastructure as per current requirement and remains committed to strengthen it every year to support the development of its students.

Dr. Sandeep Singh Kaura apprised the members that LTSU became the first university to start   programs in association with National Power Training Institute, Railtel and NSDC.  Dr. Parvinder Kaur, Pro Chancellor added that the university is working diligently for introducing new Govt/Industry funded programs to reach out to the masses.

Dr. Ashutosh Sharma, Dean USCM, presented the progress report of LTSU for the year 2024–25. He covered all the major events and achievements of the university during the year. Dr. HPS Dhami, Executive Dean USET , expressed that currently LTSU running very successful programs with IBM and L&T Edu Tech in Engineering. He further stated that LTSU is going to start new industry oriented programs in USET with industry partners.  Prof. (Dr.) MB Guru Raj, Vice President, Business Development & Innovation represented the industry oriented Skill Enhancement Collaboration vertical  in the meeting. Anita Abbi Pro Vice Chancellor Govt. Projects explained  all Government projects of LTSU.

Lamrin Tech Skills University conducts 3rd meeting of Governing Body . Members of Governing Body appreciated the new initiatives of LTSU such as Centre for Future Skills at LTSU campus, new programs being initiated by university in association with industry and promised to extend guidance and support to the university in all its future endeavours.

Dr Rajiv Mahajan Registrar, Dr NS Gill Executive Director, Dr. Navneet Kaur,  Vimal Manhotra, Dr. Dinesh Sharma, Er MS Atwal, Dr Manpreet Singh and other senior functionaries were also present in the meeting.
