Lohri celebrated at old age home ‘Apna Ghar’

Festival of Lohri was celebrated with gaiety and fervour at old age home ‘Apna’Ghar’,Haveli Kalan on Thursday by Saraswati Devi Mundra Charitable Trust in collaboration with Inner Wheel Club Rupnagar.
‘Apna Ghar’ resident Varinder Sharma lit the Lohri Bonfirein the presence of Inner Wheel Club president Kulwinder Kaur,former president Asima Aggarwal,president elect Meenal Vasudeva.
While speaking on the occasion Trust president Rajinder Saini extended his good wishes to the people gathered on the occasion.
The district police Saanjh Kendra in-charge Ranjit Singh Badwal along with other officials also attended the celebration. Badwal highlighted the activities of the Saanjh Kendra.
Saini Bhawan president Dr Ajmer Singh, trustees of Sarawati Devi Mundra Charitable Trust advocate Ravinder Singh Mundra and Vinod Jain also spoke on the occasion.
Trustees Balbir Singh Saini,Amarjit Singh,Bahadurjeet Singh, Balwinder Kaur, Sandeep Singh, KS Bhogal,Jinder Singh,SM Singh,Rajinder Singh Mundra,Jagdev Singh and Tara Singh were also present on the occasion.
Lohri was also celebrated at St Carmel School with fervour. School patron Amrajit Singh Saini,MD Madhuri Saini,business manager Jaya Saini were among those who attended the celebrations.
