Maninder Singh takes over as SSP Rupnagar

Maninder Singh today took over as Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP)Rupnagar.
Speaking on the occasion, 2019 batch IPS officer Maninder Singh said that he will “leave no stone unturned to provide clean, corruption-free, transparent police administration”. He said that the law and order situation in the district will be maintained and no mischievous element will be allowed to spoil the atmosphere of the district.
He said that strict steps will be taken to prevent drugs and strict action will be taken against criminals.. An effective policy will be adopted against organized crime and as per the policies of the Punjab Government, their primary task will be to provide due justice to every needy person in a timely manner.”
He also expressed hope from the residents of Rupnagar that they will also provide full cooperation in maintaining the law and order situation and in other works.
