Mann cabinet’s second wicket down in nine months; another minister resigns

Punjab cabinet minister Fauja Singh Sarari has resigned from the Punjab cabinet.
In a short while ago Sarari has submitted his resignation. He is the second minister of Mann government who is accused in corruption charges. Earlier Dr Vijay, former health minister has to resign in corruption charges.
It was around four months ago when Punjab Cabinet minister Fauja Singh Sarari landed in the eye of the storm after an audio clip of a conversation purportedly between him and a close aide discussing a plan to “trap” contractors – involved in the transport of foodgrain – surfaced on social media .
