Mata Gujri College organizes special lecture
Post graduate Punjabi department of Mata Gujri College organized special lecture on Mother Language day. Special guest of this event was world famous Punjabi translator Jung Bahadur Goyal.
Director Principal of the college Dr. Kashmir Singh admiring this step of Punjabi Department said,” Students should read books as much as they can so that they could enhance their knowledge. This kind of special lecture play very important role in students’ life.”
Head of the Punjabi department, Dr. Rajinder Kaur welcomed guests. Jung Bahadur Goyal told M.A, M.Phil students about the world wide known novels. He shared ideology of Tolstoy, Belthum, Jorbey and other western novelists. He also highlighted literary merits of Indian novelists. He also advised students to recognize good books and get knowledge from them. Students also asked questions to him during lecture.
On this occasion, Jung Bahadur Goyal was honored with memorable symbol by the college. Dr. Amanpreet Singh honored great personalities, guests and students. On this occasion, all professors of the department were also present.
