Mata Gujri College organizes special lecture on Placements
To improve skills of students and aware them about future employment opportunities, Mata Gujri college organized special lecture in which Rakesh Sharma of ICICI security team, Delhi arrived as a chief guest. In this special lecture, he performed virtual trading to teach students online trading in stock exchange. Moreover, he also told about the functioning of share market in which he acquainted increasing importance of share trading day by day in share market and along with he said,” Students can get good jobs by cracking stock trading exam and earn fame internationally.” He also informed about the ups and downs in nifty and sensex. In this special lecture, students of commerce department, B.com 3rd, M.Com- 2nd, Management department, M.B.A- 2nd and Economics department, M.A- 2nd participated.
On this occasion, Director Principal Dr. Kashmir Singh thanked ICICI security team for arriving in the college and said, “It is very important for the students of commerce, management and economics to have information about sensex and nifty so that they don’t face any hindrance in employment.” He added,” This kind of lectures for the students will be held in the future from time to time.”
On this occasion, Dean Academics Prof. Bikramjit Singh Sandhu extended vote of thanks to ICICI security team and said,” If students have all the information about sensex and nifty, they can get good employment. He added,” Students can do this business as supporting business.” During this lecture, approximately 500 students participated. On this occasion, Dean Placement Dr. Harjit Singh, Training and placement officer, Sohajbir Singh, Prof. Saurav Sharma and other staff members were also present.
