MC elections-PPCC president constituted 8 members committee

Punjab pradesh congress committee (PPCC) president Sunil Jakhar has constituted an eight member committee, to oversee the forthcoming Urban Local Bodies Elections 2021 in Punjab.
As per the list, veteran congress leader and Punjab mandi board chairman Laal singh to head the eight members committee, to look after the process of forthcoming Urban Local Bodies Elections 2021 in nine municipal corporations, 109 municipal councils and nagar panchayats of Punjab. Besides, by-elections to one ward of the Amritsar Municipal Corporation and three wards of the Mahilpur and Mullanpur Dakha Municipal Councils have also been notified and the committee will look after these also.

Laal Singh will be assisted by another veteran leader from Jalandhar Avtar Henry, cabinet minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu, senior leaders Raj Kumar Verka, Dr Raj Kumar Chabbewal, Surinder Gupta, Mamta Dutta, Roop Kaur, as members of the committee.
