Mentorship and Digital Poster Making Content session organised for students by Govt Bikram College

The Institutional Innovative Council of Government Bikram College of Commerce organized a session on “Mentorship and Digital Poster Making Content”focusing on the theme of “Business Ideas and Education “under the guidance of college Principal Prof (Dr) Kusum Lata according to the instructions issued by the Directorate of Higher Education,Government of Punjab.The event, held on February 02,2024 served as a platform for students to showcase their creative thinking.
The central theme of the competition revolved around generating innovative business ideas. The students were given a topic and had to prepare an on the spot digital poster.The purpose was to encourage students to think critically, explore entrepreneurial opportunities, and foster a spirit of innovation.
The Resource Person Radhika Ahuja, a Career Counsellor, enriched the event.Her expertise provided valuable insights into the practical aspects of turning ideas into practice.She informed the students about various sites which give information about internship opportunities.The students exhibited remarkable enthusiasm and creativity, presenting a diverse range of business ideas.
The competition concluded with the announcement of winners who gave a detailed explanation of the content of their poster. DrJyoti Tirthani, Dr Rekha Rani,Dr.Reetu Kapoor all coordinated well to make the event a success. About 110 students participated in the event and about 20 among them enthusiastically came up with new innovative ideas through their posters.
The event successfully highlighted the innovative spirit of our students.
