MLA Dinesh Chadha flags off shuttle bus service for Rupnagar

Rupnagar MLA advocate Dinesh Chadha flagged off shuttle bus service for Rupnagar city.
Speaking on the occasion Chadha said that construction work of four lane steel bridge on Sirhind canal near new bus stand on Ropar Phagwara-Nawanshahr-Banga-Rupnagar road National .Highway .344A and along with Nehru Stadium was in progress. Due to this project the traffic of this bridge has been diverted till further orders. Due to this diversion of buses the general public was facing great difficulty for going to general Bus Stand Rupnagar and from general bus stand Rupnagar to old bus stand, Gurdwara Bhatta Sahib and Police Lines.
Keeping in view this problem. Punjab Roadways Rupnagar has started shuttle service from the bus stand.
Giving information about the bus route, he said that this shuttle bus would run from 7 am to 11 am and from 2 pm to 6 pm from general bus stand to Bela Chowk / civil hospital and back from Bela Chowk to government college and passing thorugh Giani Zail Singh Nagar. will go to old bus Stand, Gurdwara Bhatta Sahib and Police Lines and return tio new bus stand on the same route.
