Modern School wins Gold & Bronze in Football and Basketball Inter-school Tournaments

Modern Senior Secondary School, Patiala emerged as the epicentre of sporting fervor as it hosted two prestigious Inter-school sports tournaments for Football and Basketball where the top 8 teams invited.
Kicking off the sports extravaganza was the Inter-school Football Tournament (Under-14, Boys) where the field resonated with cheers as Modern School soared to victory, claiming the gold medal. The best player of the tournament was awarded to Modernite Dev Kashyap. Mount Litera Zee School and Model Senior Secondary School, Punjabi University secured second and third prices respectively.
This exhilarating triumph was followed by the Basketball Tournament (Boys & Girls, Under 17) which witnessed intense showdowns. Modern School clinched the bronze medal in the girls’ category, amidst fierce competition.
The tournament was honored by the esteemed presence of Chief Guest Tarlok Singh Sandhu, a Basketball Olympian and Rupesh Kumar, District Sports Officer. Jatinder Singh Balli, Senior Football Coach & Engineer, PSPCL graced the Football Tournament.
