Morinda sacrilege case accused died under mysterious circumstances

As per available information, Jasvir Singh, an accused of Gurudwara Kotwali Sahib, Morinda, sacrilege case has died under mysterious circumstances at Mansa civil hospital.
Last month he was shifted to Mansa jail.
Today evening he felt uneasiness and was shifted from Mansa jail to Mansa civil hospital. Whereas as per reports, he died at 9:10 pm at Mansa civil hospital.
As per sources, “his body is shifted to Mansa civil hospital mortuary and post mortem will be conducted, tomorrow morning”.
A Ropar court on Saturday sent the accused in the Morinda sacrilege incident to 14-day judicial custody. Jasvir Singh was produced in the court after spending four days in police on April 29,2023.
On April 24, Jasvir Singh was seen in a video entering the sanctum sanctorum of Kotwali Sahib gurdwara after crossing the railing and then hitting two ‘granthis’ who were reciting from the Guru Granth Sahib, and then pushed the holy book.
