MRSPTU celebrates 78th NCC Raising Day with Enthusiasm and Patriotic Fervour….

Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), Bathinda, celebrated the 78th NCC Raising Day at the University Athletics Ground with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour.

The event was graced by MRSPTU Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjeev Kumar Sharma as the Chief Guest. Senior officials—including Registrar Dr. Gurinder Pal Singh Brar, Campus Director (GZSCCET) Dr. Sanjeev Aggarwal, Dean Students’ Welfare Dr. Paramjit Singh, Prof. Incharge (F&P) Dr. Harish Garg, NCC Officer Lt. Vivek and CTO Simardeep Kaur—were also present along with faculty, staff, cadets and invited guests.

In his keynote address, the Vice Chancellor congratulated the cadets for their discipline, dedication and spirit of service. He emphasized the vital role of NCC in shaping responsible, patriotic and socially conscious youth and urged students to uphold the values of unity, integrity, leadership and community service.

The celebration commenced with a warm welcome to the Chief Guest, followed by an impressive drill display by NCC cadets. Their discipline, precision and coordination showcased the rigorous training and commitment instilled through NCC.

Prof. Sharma inspected the parade and took the salute, commending the cadets for their exemplary performance. A flag-bearing ceremony added further dignity to the proceedings.

Campus Director Dr. Sanjeev Aggarwal briefly highlighted the importance of NCC training and encouraged cadets to uphold its core values with sincerity and dedication.

After the parade, a vibrant cultural programme featuring patriotic songs, poetry, dance performances and recitations by cadets showcased their talent and strengthened camaraderie.

The event concluded with the NCC Song, symbolizing national pride, discipline and unity.
