Nabha lad part of Akshay Kumar starrer GOLD movie
Nabha- Nabha city, a princely state of erstwhile pre independent India is once again came to limelight when a local national hockey player Krishnu Shardha is being a part of bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar starer movie GOLD. Besides Akshay Kumar, Mouni Roy, Amit Sadh, Kunal Kapoor, Vineet Singh are also a part of this historic movie.
Krishnu is seen as a hockey player in the movie, along with super star Akshay Kumar. He is playing at centre forward position in the movie
Krishnu disclosed that the GOLD movie shooting was held in Amritsar, Patiala, Ludhiana, Nabha along with other cities. The film is going to be released on August 15th this year.
A few days earlier Punjab Cabinet Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu also honoured Krishnu Shardha.
GOLD is a story of that remarkable event, happens to be the first gold bagged by independent India in the 1948 Summer Olympics. That India scores this medal by defeating the nation that colonised it for two centuries- England. Winning over our erstwhile colonial masters would have been sweet indeed and the story loses none of its strength as it is narrated in Gold.
