No letup in Covid cases in Patiala; still increasing

As per civil surgeon Patiala, Dr Satinder Singh, today 64 COVID-19 cases were reported from Patiala district.
Out of these 64, 44 were reported from Patiala, 2 from Nabha, 8 from Rajpura, 3 from Bhadson block, 3 fom Kauli block, 1 from Harpalpur block,1 from Shutrana and 2 from Dudhan Sadan block.
Out of these 64, 12 cases were reported from contact tracing and rest 52 from OPD with flu type symptoms. 30 patients were discharged today, after the completion of mandatory isolation period.
As of now total 17136 cases were reported in Patiala district. Total 16211 patients were discharged in the district, after the completion of mandatory isolation period.
Till now 411 cases are still active in the district. Today the health authorities took 530 samples.
