Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, on Friday evening, campaigned for the AAP candidate of Jalandhar Pawan Kumar Tinu and held a mega road show in Kartarpur. Mann appealed to the people that on June 1st they have to do the cleaning with ‘jharoo’ and make the AAP win by 13-0.

Mann told the people that their love and support never lets him get tired. “I cannot repay the debt of this love even in seven lives,” said Mann. People don’t even come out of their houses for other politicians and you shower me with flowers and so much love that it is my biggest gift.

Addressing the people during the rod show Mann recounted his work of two years and said that he is asking for votes based on that work. He said that it is his privilege that he got to serve the people of Punjab. He added money is not everything. Sure rich people are famous for a short time but no one remembers them after they are gone. Referring to Guru Nanak Dev Ji, CM Mann said that a lot of things in life are far more important than money. He said that the happiness he gets from working for the people, solving their problems and serving them is priceless.

Mann said I am among you after giving government jobs to 43000 youth in the last two years. Made electricity bills free for 90 percent of the houses. Opened 830 Mohalla clinics and built Schools of Eminence. At the same time, farmers were given sufficient electricity for farming during the day and canal water was supplied to 59% of the fields.

He said that the AAP government did more in two years than what they promised during 2022 assembly elections. Referring to the Road Safety Force (SSF), Mann said that last year we formed the Road Safety Force, which has saved about 1250 lives in road accidents so far. Last year in March-April, about 1500 people died in road accidents. Whereas this year only 250 people died in these months. Mann said that before SSF 17 people used to die on spot in Punjab in road accidents which was highest in the country. Now SSF is saving precious lives everyday. He said that he closed 16 toll plazas in Punjab and now it saves Punjabis about 60 lakhs daily.

Mann said that now the reverse migration is happening in Punjab, the people, who left Punjab after being disappointed with the system and corruption, are now returning to Punjab. Mann said that Punjab has everything, it only lacked one thing, honest leaders with clear intentions, now after 2022 that problem is solved too, that’s why the people are returning home. During the road show an England returnee also praised Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and said that for the first time Punjab has an honest CM. He said that he is happy with the progress that the Punjab has made under the capable leadership of CM Mann. He thanked the chief minister and said that he is so happy to be back home.

Mann also attacked Akali Dal and Sukhbir Badal. He said that the Akali Dal is unable to find 13 candidates for the Lok Sabha elections in Punjab. On Sukhbir Badal, he said that he comes out of the house after asking the temperature. When the temperature is around 30 degrees, he takes out the Punjab Bachao Yatra for two hours. How can we expect the welfare of Punjab from such people. Mann said that he cannot even read and write Punjabi but he thinks he is heir of Punjab. He also cornered Sukhbir Badal and Captain Amrinder Singh about their luxurious properties Sukh Vilas and Siswan farm in the mountains. Mann said that two people were ruling Punjab for 25 years but they didn’t value the trust and responsibilities given to them, now look where they are.

AAP candidate Pawan Kumar Tinu thanked the people of Kartarpur for welcoming the road show so warmly and enthusiastically. He appealed to the people, just do your duty on June 1st, then I’ll be serving your my best for five years. He assured the CM that the people of Jalandhar will win them this seat. Cabinet Minister DSP Balkar Singh was also present during the road show and thanked the people for their continue support.
