On Kargil Vijay Diwas Atharva Foundation hands over Ambulance to North Eastern soldiers’ families

On the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas today, an ambulance was handed over to the families of ex-servicemen and martyred soldiers of North Eastern states of India by Atharva Foundation.
Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais handed over the keys of the ambulance to the representatives of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh at a special function organized by Sunil Rane, MLA from Borivali West and President of Atharva Foundation at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai.
The event was attended by officers, veterans and ex-servicemen from various Armed Forces.
Atharva Foundation continuously works for the welfare of ex-servicemen and families of martyred soldiers. It has also been associated with various programs for the welfare of soldiers for more than a decade. In the last few years, special welfare schemes have been started by Sunil Rane for the North East states.
Sunil Rane informed that the objective of this contribution is to improve emergency medical services for the brave men serving in the Armed Forces.
Atharva Foundation has also handed over an ambulance to the State Sainik Boards of Sikkim and Nagaland in an event organized in 2022. An ambulance was also handed over to Ex-Servicemen League Churachandpur, Manipur in 2020.
Recently, a two-day Defense Exhibition was organized at Kora Center Maidan Borivali on 22 and 23 April by the Foundation . It also distributes laptops for higher education to daughters of martyred soldiers across the country to enable the “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” campaign.
