‘One for All, All for One’-Atharva Foundation honoured martyrs’ families

The ten martyrs’ families were honoured during an annual patriotism program ‘One for All, All for One’ , which was held at NSCI-Worli, Mumbai. The program was organized by Atharva Foundation to honor the valiant soldiers, who sacrificed their lives for the country.
Nitin Gadkari , Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways and Devendra Fadnavis , CM Maharashtra were chief guests during program.
The martyrs whose family members were honored during occasion includes Lance Naik Sandeep Singh from Gurdaspur, Lt. Triveni Singh, Ashok Chakra (posthumous), who hailed from Pathankot, Captain Neikezhakuo Kengurse, (Maha Vir Chakra) from Kohima, Nagaland, Major Udai Singh , (SC, SM) from Noida, Major Mohit Sharma, (AC, SM) from Gazhiabad, Naik Neeraj Kumar Singh (Ashok Chakra) from Bulandsahar, UP, Captain Tushar Mahajan (Shaurya Chakra) from Udhampur, J&K , Lt. Natarajan Parthiban (Kirti Chakra) from Chennai, Naik Gawade Pandurang Mahadev (Shaurya Chakra) from Sindhudurg, Maharashtra, Captain R Harshan (Ashok Chakra) from Thiruvananthapuram.
The two living legends, Param Vir Chakra Awardee Subedar Yogendra Yadav from Bulandsahar, UP and Wing Commander Jag Mohan Nath , (Bar to MVC) from Andheri,Mumbai were also felicitated during occasion.
During program, the exemplary heroic stories of the honored soldiers’ courage were narrated to audience by Bollywood stars including Hema Malini, Raza Murad, Mahima Chaudhary along with Gulshan Grover, Mohan Joshi, Shreyash Talpade, Dilip Joshi, Warina Hussain and Puneet Issar.
Sunil Rane, Chairman of Atharva Foundation said that the program sought to raise awareness among the youth about the armed forces and their supreme sacrifice. It also aimed to inspire young people to take pride in these brave men and follow their path to serve their country, said Rane adding main objective of ‘One for All, All for One’ is to maximum welfare for the soldiers deployed on the border
