Patiala district in-charge secretary Vivek Pratap Singh reviews the development works of the district

Punjab Government Principal Secretary-cum-District Patiala In-charge Secretary Vivek Pratap Singh held an important meeting with the district officials to take stock of the administrative services being provided to the people and the ongoing various development projects in the district.

While presiding over this meeting at the district administrative complex Vivek Partap Singh instructed all the officials that as per the instructions of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, it should be ensured that all the administrative services are provided to the citizens in a transparent and better manner on time so that the common man feels better.  He also instructed to expedite the completion of the ongoing development works.

In the meeting Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney, S.S.P.  Deepak Pareek, Municipal Commissioner Aditya Upal, PDA  Chief Administrator Gautam Jain, ADCs Gurpreet Singh Thind, Pooja Sial Grewal and Isha Singhal, All SDMs and departmental heads were present.

Vivek Pratap Singh asked all the SDMs and Tehsildars of the district to make regular visits to the villages and solve the problems and difficulties faced by the common people immediately and give them relief.  Especially the revenue department offices including Patwarkhanas should be checked so that people do not face any kind of difficulties.

Principal Secretary Vivek Pratap Singh, while reviewing the ongoing procurement of paddy in the district, ordered the District Food and Supplies Controller to ensure payment of the purchased paddy within 24 hours and lifting within 48 hours, besides a report of delay in payment should also be submitted.

Vivek Pratap Singh ordered to use of more vigilance to control the incidents of stubble burning happening in the district. He said that officials of Agriculture, Revenue, Cooperative, Mandi Board, Rural Development and Panchayat Departments should go to the villages and make the farmers aware of the harm caused by stubble burning.

 Apart from the performance of Aam Aadmi Clinics and Service Centres, the Principal Secretary also took stock of the Vaddi and Chotti Nadis, New Bus Stand, Canal Water Project, Dairy Shifting, Heritage Street, Maharaja Bhupinder Singh Sports University, Model Town Drain Covering, Mandauli-Pabra Water Supply Project, upgradation of Ghanur, Rajpura, Samana and Nabha sub-divisional hospitals, Rajindra Lake and other projects and instructed to speed up the work of all the projects and ensure their completion on time.
