Patiala lad Vinayak Verma made Punjab proud; won medals in archery championship

“Patiala lad Vinayak Verma has won one gold medal in team event and one bronze in mixed team’s event at the 41st Junior National Archery Championship competition, which was held at Dehradun, Uttrakhand, from March 4 to March 16,2021” said Vishal Verma, father of Vinayak Verma.

Sharing this great news, Vishal further said “Vinayak Verma had added silver team medal at International level, of 3rd South Asian Archery Championship held at Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2018 in his kitty.” Adding further, he said ,” Vinayak had also participated in Youth World championship held at Madrid, Spain in 2019.”

As per the information provided by Vinayak’s father, he had won 70+ medals in Game Recurve Archery at International, National and State level championships.

“It’s a pride moment for Patiala, Punjab that he has been selected for the upcoming trail for Asia cup as well as for Youth World championship, to be held at Sonipat in Haryana. Now he is getting coaching from Gaurav Sharma.” informed Vishal Verma.

Vinayak is also pursuing his studies at Govt co-ed multipurpose senior secondary school, Patiala. His school principal Tota singh, a National Awardee appreciated the dedication towards his sports . Now he is getting coaching from Gaurav Sharma.
