Patiala Management Association comes forward to guide four budding entrepreneurs of ‘Future Tycoons: Start-up Challenge’

“Patiala Management Association has fulfilled its promise made to the district administration that they would provide further mentorship to budding entrepreneurs after the mega event of ‘Future Tycoons’ in the past” said its president Vikas Kalra.

“Patiala Management Association, which has members from every walk of life, has organized a function in which four budding entrepreneurs- Raghav and his team from Bookwala, Liza a young girl from Shivani Makeovers (a salon and academy), Ranjit kaur from self help group who made pickles and Tejvinder Saini a young Patiala resident whose idea is to develop Aqua floc which can help fishing even from small land and is doing Bio-Flock Fish Farming gave presentation, shared their ideas, their future plans with the members of the association’ said Sanjay Gupta, general secretary of Patiala Management Association.

“PMA provide further hand holding and guidance to the four budding entrepreneurs at a function organised in Garden Resorts Patiala. Three candidates from Finale and one who even did not reach to that level pitched their ideas. PMA has agreed and committed to provide support to entrepreneurial endeavours in future too” added Punjabi University’s management department Dr Reetinder Kaur who is also a member of  Patiala Management Association and was one of the judges at ‘Future Tycoons’

The ‘Future Tycoons: Start-up Challenge’ was a first of its kind the Patiala District Administration had launched a unique project under which students, youth, self-help groups, women, differently abled persons, small and big businessmen or the general public came up with new ideas, concepts or plans for their dream project. It was assured that every kind of help would be provided to bring it to reality. The ‘Future Tycoons: Start-up Challenge’ project was jointly by the district administration and other local businessmen of the district.

“PMA has agreed and committed to provide support to the deputy commissioner Sakshi Swahney and  to entrepreneurial endeavours in future too’ added Naresh Gupta, advisor, PMA.
