Patiala Municipal Corporation Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Khaira appealed to the residents of Patiala, NGO’s and Religious bodies to not to use Plastic, Thermocol utensils like glasses, spoons, plates, bowls in functions or community kitchens.
He said that these are harmful for human body. He also said that normally residents litter the plastic, thermocol after using it in open and sometimes they dump them in open. and that is more harmful. We must keep our city clean.It’s our duty to beautify our city and avoid using the Plastic, thermocol utensils even in religious processions.
