Patiala police recovered 400 intoxicant tablets ; arrested husband-wife duo-SSP

On the directions of SSP Patiala Deepak Pareek IPS a special drive against drugs is ongoing in the district Patiala. Throughout the district there is special nakas and round the clock checking of suspicious vehicles.
On 14.10.2022 Police party of PS Civil Lines was checking suspicious vehicles near Sular Chowk Patiala, when they recovered 400 Intoxicant tablets. FIR 218 dated 15.10.2022 u/s 22/61/85 NDPS Act PS Civil Lines was registered against Balwinder singh alias Bhindu s/o Dhana Ram r/o Village Langrohi PS Passiana and Charanjit kaur alias Kaki w/o Baljinder singh r/o village Langrohi PS Passiana. Both the accused have been arrested and further investigation is been done.
