People should be alert about the spread of the corona virus and get vaccinated – VC MRSPTU

A special Covid-19 vaccination camp was organised at Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), Bathinda today. The university authorities said 43 persons above 45 years of age were vaccinated at the camp.
The initiative was undertaken by Senior Medical Officer (SMO), Dr. H. M. Garg of the university. A team of doctors and medical staff from civil hospital Bathinda administered vaccine to the eligible university employees and their family members aged 45 years and above as per guidelines.
Dr. Garg said all eligible employees were voluntarily vaccinated. “MRSPTU employees and residents, who are above 45 years, must get vaccinated against the virus,” he added.
MRSPTU Vice Chancellor, Prof. Buta Singh Sidhu appreciated the effort of organising the team. He said that people should be alert about the spread of the corona virus and get vaccinated to contain the Covid spread.
