Philately quiz contest: Police DAV Public School Patiala students win accolades

It was a moment of great Pride for the students of Police DAV Public School Patiala who won the philately quiz organised by the Postal department. Three Students of the school made their alma mater and parents proud by winning the scholarship from the Postal department by participating in the National level Philately quiz.
Yashvir Dutt and Manavdeep Singh of class 6 and Yuvraj Singh of class 8 were among the top winners. Different schools of the district and state participated in the quiz where the above students from the school presented projects on topics: flora and fauna, digital India, etc.
These students had given their best and made beautiful presentation after thorough research on the topics allotted to them. Their files were the top three which have been selected for the scholarship.
The school is the only school from the city to win the quiz.
On the joyous occasion, the school principal Savita Dhankhar congratulated the students and their parents for the whole hearted support and guidance. She wished them a bright future. She further added that such events bring out the creative side of students and enhance their skills. She also motivated others to participate more and more in such competitions.
