Youth Dialogue Event at MRSPTU sheds Light on India’s 2047 Vision

The Yuva Samvad-India@2047 event unfolded at Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU) on Monday, emphasizing India’s aspirations for 2047.

During the Independence Day celebrations, the Prime Minister introduced the Panch Pran, stressing their pivotal role in realizing Bharat’s vision as Vishwaguru by 2047. These principles, encompassing goals for a developed India, the eradication of colonial mindset, pride in heritage, unity, and a sense of duty, hold immense importance for today’s youth in the era of Amrit Kaal.

To raise awareness among university students, a collaborative effort between NSS wing, University Business School, and the Department of Computer Science led to the organization of a speech competition titled “India’s Panch Pran: A Youth Dialogue – Bharat Ke Panch Pran – Ek Yuva Paricharcha.”

Former Health Minister, Professor Laxmi Kanta Chawla, delivered a lecture on Indian history, highlighting the imperative of youth involvement in national development and addressing societal issues, including the menace of drug addiction.

During the event, Registrar Dr. Gurinder Pal Singh Brar engaged students in a discussion on the influential role of teachers in shaping students’ lives within the context of Indian culture.

Dr. Veerpaul Kaur Maan, Head of University Business School, MRSPTU spearheaded the event, with Dr. Swati is from the Department of Computer Science, MRSPTU serving as the Program Officer.  NSS Coordinator of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU) Dr. Meenu played a key role in the event.

Youth Dialogue Event at MRSPTU sheds Light on India’s 2047 Vision. Despite stiff competition, 30 students participated in the speech contest, with Janvi from the University Business School clinching the first position, followed by Saksham Kumar from the Department of Computer Science in second place, and Simran from the University Business School securing third place.
