The issues relating to the PCMS doctors working in both these departments and the ongoing national health programs will be better addressed under one minister. Similarly the minister with medical background will be able to better understand and address the issues relating to health and medical education for streamlining the health and medical services in the state.

The association has also assured full cooperation to the newly elected government for the welfare and betterment of the patients and the people of the state, said the association leaders.
