Police DAV Patiala Shines at CBSE Inter School Games

History was created by the sports stars of Police DAV Public School, Patiala when they out shone at the CBSE Inter School Sports and games competition in Archery at Chhattisgarh (Raipur) where in about 2000 students participated in order to achieve 71 targets. Boys and girls participated enthusiastically in under 14, under 17 and under 19 wooden, recurve and compound archery.

Jaspreet Kaur of XII class bagged gold medal in individual under 19 compound archery whereas Manpreet Kaur of XII class bagged two silver medals in the same category. Gursirat Kaur of class XII also bagged two silver medals in recurve under 19 individual and Olympic fight of archery.

The team was accompanied by teacher Seema Kang to Raipur and were welcomed back them on their arrival in school and congratulated them.

The School Principal Meena Thapar congratulated Police DAV Students who shines at CBSE Inter School games and applauded the efforts of the archery team for remarkable achievement and lauded the support of their parents also in this regard. She asked the students to participate more and more in such events as they help to boost the confidence level and gives a platform to exhibit their talents at mass level as such events produce future sports persons of India.
