Police DAV Public School Patiala celebrated Virtual Photography Day.To mark the occasion, a speech was delivered by Bhavishya, student of sixth class.He elaborated the importance of Photography-day.He shared that August 19 is observed as World Photography Day. It aims to inspire photographers across the planet to share a single photo with a simple purpose, to share their world with the world .
August 19, 2010 World photo day hosted its first global online gallery. To commemorate the day school organised a photography competition between students of sixth and seventh classes, the students captured various moods of nature with distinctiveness and shared on virtual platform given to them by Zinnea House.
From VI class Deepinder got first prize, Harmeen Kaur got second prize and Jaspreet Kaur got third prize ,from VII class Anjali got first prize Jashandeep got second prize and Gaurav Preet Singh got third prize. School Principal MeenaThapar appreciated the efforts of students and motivated them to enhance their capabilities and potential. She complimented the efforts of Zinnia House teachers for their efforts to make the day special.
