Academics involve students throughout the year. Students need to be refreshed time and again.  Keeping this in mind and to engage students in productive activities, Fun & Frolic Week was organised for the students of classes 1 to 7 .

It was organised from 2 July till 9 July 2024, where students got a chance to learn creative activities free of cost.  They learnt the art of calligraphy from Jagroop kaur wherein they practiced different writing styles to help them write beautifully in assignments given to them.

They learnt  how to make articles with paper folding as origami activity from Ritu Singh.  Children made amazing flowers in craft activity and learnt to practice impressions through vegetables, cotton, thread ,etc.

Culinary skills were taught by Ritu and Upasna where students learnt to prepare dishes without using fire. They relished the delicacies prepared by them. Computer skills were enhanced by Mandeep Kaur where students  gained practical knowledge.  Students displayed their dancing side too. They were taught to shake their legs on the latest numbers by Monika .

The art of storytelling was taken by Sandeep Kaur and Anjna where they displayed their impeccable skills and engrossed the students into their stories. Social etiquettes are very important for children. To aprise them about it, Meeru and Gurpreet Kaur cited examples of their daily lives to improve social mannerisms amongst children.

Police DAV Public school, Patiala principal Savita Dhankhar applauded the efforts of the students and staff on conclusion of the week. She extended her heartfelt thanks to the efforts of the Supervisors,  Gurpreet Kaur and Anjna Kapoor along with the Activity incharge Monika Khanna in making the event glitch free.

She extended her thanks to the parents and students from other schools for participating and showing their enthusiasm to explore their creative sides. She further added that such events engage students and allow them to explore their potential to the maximum. She congratulated everyone on this stupendous success.
The event ended on an optimistic note.
