Post office branch opened in Fatehgarh Sahib district

Prabhat Goyal, Superintendent Post Offices, Patiala has inaugurated Dhatonda Branch Post Office in Fatehgarh Sahib district.
While addressing the public during the function Prabhat Goyal has informed about the benefits and key features of various Post Office Savings Bank (POSB) schemes and Rural Postal Life Insurance (RPLI) , he also requested to open the Sukanya Samridhi Accounts of all the eligible girls. Members of Panchayat of the village were present during the function. Sarpanch of Dhatonda has thanked the Department of Posts for fulfilling the long pending demand of residents of Dhatonda village.
On the request of residents, Superintendent Post Offices Patiala Dn has promised that in the coming future Camps of Aadhar updation and NREGA accounts opening will be organized in the Branch Post Office. Residents of village were very happy as they can withdraw their amount easily from their accounts in their own village and avail other benefits of Department of Posts. During the function ASP West Sub Division Rashmi and Mail overseer of the area were also present, both have played a key role in opening of these post offices.
