The PSEB Accounts Audit & Administrative Services Association (Regd.) expresses its deep disappointment and serious concern over the continued inaction of PSPCL Management regarding the long-pending promotions in the Accounts Cadre.
There has been a prolonged and unjustifiable delay in the promotions of Senior Accounts Officers (Sr. AOs) and Assistant Accounts Officers (AAOs – Revenue), many of whom have already completed more than 15 years of service. Despite numerous posts lying vacant as of 30.06.2025 and the lapse of the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC), eligible officerswho fully satisfy all prescribed criteria, including the requisite qualifying service—are being denied their rightful career progression.
This continued delay, stemming from administrative apathy or deliberate inaction, has resulted in several officers retiring without receiving their due promotions, while many others are on the verge of retirement under the same uncertainty. This ongoing neglect has created widespread resentment, frustration, and deep demoralization within the entire Accounts Cadre and has raised serious questions regarding transparency and fairness in the internal administrative processes of PSPCL.

The Association strongly urges immediate intervention by the top management to expedite the promotion process without any further delay and to uphold the principles of equity, justice, and due process.
The Association urges the PSPCL Management to intervene without further delay and ensure the immediate convening of the DPC and issuance of long-pending promotions. The denial of timely promotion to those who have served with commitment for over 15 years is not only unfair but also contrary to the principles of natural justice.
